Sterling Autobody was founded in 1997 with a mission to redefine the collision repair experience. With a commitment to providing safe, high-quality repairs, while returning the car to the customer as quickly as possible, we developed a unique repair process and began building our own state-of-the art facilities.
In 2001, Allstate Non-Insurance Holdings purchased Sterling Autobody Centers to offer consumers the option of a superior automotive claims experience with guaranteed high-quality repairs. Sterling Autobody Centers now operates over 60 vehicle repair facilities in 16 states, with a Store Support Center in Natick, Massachusetts.
This game-changing, entrepreneurial venture was designed to meet the needs of Allstate policyholders by seamlessly providing autobody repair service within the same company. The operations were built around achieving critical customer performance standards at every step.
Through a combination of strategic acquisitions and brick-and-mortar expansion, Sterling was created as an affiliate organization designed to make collision repair easier for the customer. The result was a successful company providing a high level of service exclusively to its Allstate customers.
Over time, the innovative Sterling model has evolved to reach ever-higher pinnacles of performance. With over 60 operations coast to coast, Sterling has diversified its exclusive customer practices well beyond its Allstate policyholders. Today, Sterling provides industry-leading autobody repair services to direct-pay customers, as well as policyholders of any insurance company.
What began as an audacious idea remains the only autobody repair operation affiliated with a global insurance company that delivers hassle-free service, technical expertise and an unparallelled customer experience.
